(Zurich). Sensoryx is proud to present SRX-1, the world’s smallest 3D tracking module
SRX-1 provides realtime 6 degree-of-freedom tracking with submillimeter accuracy in a tiny form factor. The module allows to track animate and inanimate objects – be it for real- or virtual life purposes. Its cross-platform compatibility, ease of integration and ability to be used in different environments allow users to easily and efficiently map the real world in the metaverse.
The hard- and software of the SRX-1 is the result of 4 years of development work and is oriented towards the requirements of B2B market participants from various industries.
In comparison, conventional 3D tracking systems are significantly larger, less precise, less robust and therefore less suitable for intuitive interaction tasks of new immersion systems. SRX-1 opens up new application possibilities with its features – especially in the area of real-time simulations. It is tailored for tasks with dynamic, precise and robust tracking requirements.
Sensoryx’s patented tracking technology is already widely used in interaction with VR / AR platforms – in corporate employee training, flight simulation, rehabilitation, sports, robot control, 3D product development, production planning, logistics, maintenance tasks and other areas.
Selected technical data:
– Accuracy: dynamic < 1.2 deg RMS error; static: < 1 deg RMS
– Resolution orientation: 0.01 deg
– Resolution position displacement: 0.3 mm
Sensoryx is a Swiss electronics startup that develops novel, small and highly precise 3D tracking solutions for XR ecosystems of large corporates.
In 2017 Sensoryx presented VRfree®, the world’s first mobile 3D hand- and finger tracking system targeted at use with XR systems.
