The Swiss Technology Fund has granted Sensoryx a loan guarantee, thereby supports its technology as an innovative solution to help reduce carbon emissions by substituting and complementing real life training – particularly flight training – with novel and highly realistic VR/AR simulations.
Zurich, Switzerland – February 11, 2020 – The management agency of the Swiss Technology Fund confirms that the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) has granted a loan guarantee to Sensoryx.
The Technology Fund, created by the Federal Government, offers loan guarantees to Swiss companies whose products contribute to a sustainable reduction in greenhouse gas emis-sions.
«The loan guarantee grants Sensoryx access to an affordable credit line that will serve as working capital to help us finance our production and revenue scale up»
says Fabian Wenner, CFO and Co-Founder of Sensoryx
Sensoryx, a high-tech pioneer in digitizing motion, has developed and is currently the only company offering a fully integrated, wearable, mobile 3D tracking solution to accurately capture full body movements including hands and fingers of multiple users and objects. Such tracking is essential in the field of VR/AR corporate training but also for rehabilitation, diagnosis, animation, e-commerce and sports. The technology allows the setup of decentral-ized, low-cost, ad-hoc training areas without stationary cameras, where users can collabora-tively train in small groups, interacting with each other and real objects – as naturally as in real life.
«The Swiss Technology Fund loan guarantee is to us a strong endorsement of the reach and potential impact of our novel hard- and software solutions in achieving significant efficiency gains in future everyday tasks, such as VR corporate training, effective and natural team interaction and communication in VR/AR – flight simulation representing one key applica-tion»
says Rolf Adelsberger, CEO and Co-Founder of Sensoryx
